This phase is the most important part of our consulting engagement and its primary purpose is to fully understand the client’s “As Is” situation.
Depending on the scope of the engagement it can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months to complete discovery and this time frame is also dependent on stakeholder engagement and availability.
Once this phase is completed it provides us with the insight and understanding we need to scope the second phase.
Depending on the scope of the engagement this phase will involve a number of onsite workshops, where we collaborate with key stakeholders to validate findings from the discovery phase and confirm your information management imperatives as well as any potential barriers to progress.
This phase involves the creation and delivery of a detailed report that documents all our findings and presents a recommended plan to enable the client to enhance and improve their information management strategy.
It will normaly include such things as, Information governance, document & Records management and process improvement recommendations .
